Summit Materials has announced three key leadership changes to its executive structure.
Summit Materials, which recently revealed its combination with Argos USA, has appointed Jason Kilgore, Charles DePriest and David Loomes as executive vice presidents for the company’s reporting segments.
“As we undertake the integration of the Argos USA assets and accelerate our strategic progress portfolio-wide, I am pleased we will have a distinguished and proven team that will lead our reporting segments,” Summit Materials president and chief executive Anne Noonan said.
“Under the guidance of Jason, Charles and David, I am extremely confident our organisation will be aligned and motivated to advance our business both strategically and financially.
“Their extensive industry expertise, coupled with a strong commitment to developing our people, is the exact recipe for fostering a values-driven, high-performance organisation.”
Each individual has extensive experience in the construction materials and aggregate space, according to the company.
Kilgore founded Kilgore Paving in 2000 which evolved into a full-service paving business before it was acquired by Summit in 2010. Kilgore has previously served as president of Summit Material’s west region.
DePriest founded Georgia Stone Products in 2016 before Summit Materials acquired the company in 2017. Previously, DePriest served at Vulcan Materials for more than a decade.
Loomes worked at Continental Cement Co., a Summit Materials subsidary, where he led projects including the Davenport Storage Dome.
“With the full executive leadership team now in place, we firmly believe we have a unique opportunity to deliver on each of our financial commitments and generate superior value creation for Summit shareholders, employees and all stakeholders,” Noonan said.
