Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology will be showing off its latest quarrying and extractive plant and equipment offerings at the triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, USA, starting 10 March.
Sandvik will showcase its next generation equipment and services at CONEXPO, the largest construction trade show in North America.
“We’re driving innovation and digitalisation through our entire portfolio, from new equipment to even smarter customer services, conveying customer value and lower total cost of ownership across the whole Sandvik package,” said Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology’s Sales Area USA vice president Victor Tapia.
“At CONEXPO-CON/AGG, we will showcase a compelling offering of products and services, all designed to benefit our customers’ bottom line in terms of increased safety, productivity and sustainability.”
A wide array of Sandvik products are set to be showcased at CONEXPO, including:
• The Leopard DI650 drill rig.
The Leopard DI650 down-the-hole (DTH) drill rig aims to boost high capacity production in drilling applications in quarries and surface mines. Along with its powerful engine and compressor, the machine’s overall productivity is assisted by its serviceability, mobility, scalable automation packages and fuel economy.
• The UJ440i mobile jaw crusher.
The UJ440i offers an intelligent, fuel-efficient and user-friendly operator experience. The jaw crusher has proven to be reliable in a wide array of weather conditions with the on-board “intelligence” system simplifying the operation of the machine. The model is available in three variations to suit specific requirements.

• The CH840i cone crusher with Automation and Connectivity System (ACS).
With new mechanical upgrades, the Sandvik CH840i has advanced automation and rebuild possibilities to improve uptime and availability. It is intended for high capacity secondary and tertiary crushing applications.
• The modular hanging screen.
The modular hanging screen can be attached to Sandvik QH332, QS332 and QI442 tracked crushers. It benefits from its speed to adapt between open or closed-circuit configurations along with a patent pending adjustment system to produce a single sized finished product or two-sized finished product.

• The SJ2463 circular motion screen.
The circular motion screen is engineered for extra heavy-duty, medium and fine screening application. This screen is designed for screening after primary and secondary crushing.
• The Digital driller simulator.
Sandvik’s Digital driller simulator can improve workplace safety by training operators or maintenance teams on Sandvik drills. The realistic simulator emulates a physical rig, operating with authentic controls and the same software installed on the actual machines. CONEXPO attendees will be able to try the Leopard DI650i simulator firsthand.
Other products on display include the latest hammer offerings (the Rammer Excellence and Performance lines), pulverisers, cutter-crushers, grapples and shears from Sandvik subsidiary Rammer. Sandvik’s parts and services solutions and rock and drill string tools will also be highlighted.
Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology will be at Booth S5249 on Silver Lot 1 of the Las Vegas Convention Center from 10 to 14 March.
