Komatsu has locked in its partnership with the Perth Scorchers ahead of the 2025-2026 Big Bash Leagues season.
The construction equipment manufacturer has extended its partnership with the cricket team for a fifth consecutive year. As part of the deal, Komatsu will be showcased on the playing pants and training shorts of the Scorchers’ BBL and WBBL teams.
“Our values are closely aligned, with both of our organisations prioritising innovation in sport and the workplace, something we want to continue to highlight,” Perth Scorchers general manager Jess Keily said.
“We want to thank Komatsu for their ongoing support, and we look forward to once again having them onboard for another season of Big Bash cricket.”
Last season, the Perth Scorchers arranged for a Komatsu apprentice mechanic to join the BBL squad for the match day warm-up and also shadow the coaching staff.
Komatsu has played a significant role in Australia’s key construction, mining, energy, government, waste and quarry industries supplying important equipment, services and technologies.
“We’re proud to be continuing our partnership with the Perth Scorchers for another season. This collaboration is about more than just sport—it’s about connecting with the community, championing inclusion, and celebrating teamwork in all its forms,” Komatsu general manager Glenn Swift said.
“Whether it’s on the pitch or in the workplace, we’re passionate about creating opportunities and inspiring the next generation. We can’t wait to see what this season brings.”
