Perth is about to host the next decade of mining innovation, as global industry leaders, technology pioneers, and the sector’s biggest operators gather for the WA Mining Conference & Exhibition (WA Mining) next week.

Taking place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year’s program is stacked with industry-shaping exhibitors such as Tesla, Veolia, SRO Technology, Kinder Australia, and Motion, alongside attending global giants BHP, Rio Tinto, Fortescue, Newmont, Iluka Resources, and South32.

A highlight of the event is the line-up of industry-leading speakers taking part in the paid conference, including senior decision-makers who will share strategies and insights shaping the future of mining. Among them is Fortescue’s Asad Majrouh, General Manager – Eliwana, whose expertise in leading one of Australia’s most significant mining operations makes him a major drawcard for attendees.

Joining him onstage throughout the two-day premium conference includes, but is not limited to:

  • David Michael – Minister for Mines and Petroleum
  • Geoff Batt – Research Portfolio Manager, Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia
  • Amber Pattinson – Rehabilitation Monitoring Superintendent, Alcoa of Australia
  • James Middleton – General Manager Enterprise Sales – Tesla, Australia and New Zealand
  • Luke Forsyth – Partner, Deloitte Cyber

Across two days, sessions will tackle critical themes including WA’s next wave of projects, continuous improvement in rehabilitation performance, workforce resilience and safety, the rise of autonomous operations and so many more diverse topics and panels.

These exclusive sessions are reserved for Premium Conference delegates and can be unlocked by upgrading your free exhibition pass; giving you access to the strategies, insights, and expertise of leaders shaping the next decade of mining.

With exhibitors, speakers, and attendees representing the full breadth of the sector from automation and decarbonisation to workforce and sustainability, WA Mining Conference and Exhibition is set to be Perth’s flagship mining event for 2025.

Seats are filling fast, with limited opportunities remaining to connect directly with mining’s global leaders, discover cutting-edge technology, and unlock insights that will define the industry’s future.

It’s not too late to secure your place. Book your ticket today and take part in the event where the mining sector’s next chapter is being written.
