The Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) has launched its national awareness campaign for the quarrying sector.

That’s Solid is a new initiative designed to raise public awareness about the essential role quarrying plays in communities across Australia – from supplying the materials that build schools, hospitals and roads, to providing rewarding career pathways for young Australians right in their local communities.

The IQA said the campaign brings together the sector to tell a story that has never been told at this scale – that quarrying offers solid careers, supports local communities, and lays the foundations for everything that lasts.

People can now visit the That’s Solid campaign hub, which includes inspirational career stories, a brand new career quiz and a quarry directory to help people find their local quarries.

For more information, visit the campaign hub here and check out the interactive resources.
