Holcim Australia will be sending two of its young leaders to a global summit to be held in Munich, Germany, later this year.
Holcim Australia project supervisor Esta Kocsis and Holcim Australia sustainability coordinator Baron Law will represent the company at the One Young World Summit 2025. The pair will be joined by other delegates from across the Holcim Group at the forum which looks at critical issues shaping the future.
“I’m excited to connect with people working on real-world solutions — I’m proud to represent a business (that) believes in the power of young minds,” Kocsis said.
More than 2000 young leaders from 190 countries are expected to attend the event. Together they will look at five key issues including the circular economy, combating hate in society, responsible use of AI and technology, education access, and enhancing peace and security.
It is the third consecutive year that Holcim has partnered with One Young World. The partnership is part of Holcim’s commitment to investing in its people. In Australia, this has been supported through targeted graduate programs, traineeships, and mentoring for its emerging leaders.
“Being part of One Young World through Holcim is an incredible opportunity — it’s where leadership, innovation and purpose come together,” Law said.
