Holcim Australia has launched a new concrete plant which will service customers in Melbourne’s northern area.  

The Oaklands Junction concrete plant, located just north of Melbourne Airport, will service new housing developments, commercial expansion and infrastructure projects in Melbourne’s northern corridor.  

“Holcim is a global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions that are engineered to tackle key construction challenges—reducing carbon footprints, increasing energy efficiency, improving site productivity, and delivering strong architectural performance,” Holcim Australia posted.  

“The Oaklands Junction plant strengthens Holcim’s commitment to supporting the growing communities of Melbourne. The site team is excited to deliver value to our customers in the local region.” 

The new concrete plant will also supply the ECOPact range of low-carbon concrete with the Geonstone range also set to be available. The ECOPact range is a low-carbon solution for property developers, builders and contractors. The Geostone range of decorative concrete products for residential, commercial and landscape applications.
