The 90-tonne M825 heavy-duty static trommel is capable of handling rocks up to 1.5m in size and is suitable as a primary screen for blast material. It features a 149kW (200hp) Caterpillar engine with hydraulic push feeder, a 45m³ feed hopper with 4.7m wide x 5.5m long feed opening and a 2.5m diameter trommel drum.
The static trommel is supplied in a modular format and comes complete with its own free-standing frame. The trommel drum is placed on top of the frame, bolted down and is ready for work within four to six hours of assembly.
Screenmasters Australia also offers track-mounted versions of the MDS trommel. The M820 is the largest mobile trommel of its kind worldwide and a smaller M515 mobile trommel is also available.
