Crusher Screen Sale & Hire (CSSH) has helped design the PM1200‑20TB to suit the needs of Australian operators in blending applications.

The PM1200‑20TB features two five‑metre feed hoppers, each holding 12m³ and fitted with independent conveyors and belt scales. This dual‑hopper configuration allows operators to run two materials simultaneously, excelling at blending fines into road base or preparing separate products for direct truck loading.

“The PM1200‑20TB has been designed so operators can switch between blends or run dual products without slowing production or reconfiguring the plant. It’s about giving them control, not constraints,” Crusher Screen Sale & Hire (CSSH) manager John Andersen said.

The system also supports one or two powder hoppers, enabling precise addition of stabilising agents such as cement or lime. The twin powder hoppers can be connected to two separate silos, allowing different powders to be blended in a single run or kept ready for rapid changeover without emptying hoppers or swapping silo connections.

“The ability to keep multiple powders online is a major time‑saver,” Andersen said.

“It means that quarry operators and contractors can respond faster to customer requirements and reduce costly downtime. That’s a real advantage when you’re supplying multiple contractors or working to tight delivery windows.”

Liquid additives can also be added automatically. The dosing system logs production data and can be operated from an iPad in the loader or site office, giving operators real-time oversight and traceability, an increasingly vital aspect for compliance and quality assurance.

For high‑powder applications such as roller‑compacted concrete, the three‑metre pughead ensures a consistent, high‑quality mix. Hydraulic vibrating tipping grids can be installed on both feed hoppers to enhance material flow and minimise blockages, especially when handling sticky or variable raw materials.
