Andrew Ockenden has been confirmed as the new chief executive officer of the Civil Contractors Federation South Australia (CCF SA).
The CCF SA welcomed the appointment of an experienced leader with more than two decades of experience across the private and public sectors. Ockenden has spent his career in corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement, and government relations within the mining, transport, and infrastructure industries.
“We received excellent candidate submissions during the recruitment process, and we are pleased to have selected Andrew to lead the Federation through this strong period of infrastructure-driven growth for the State,” CCF SA president Charles Hatcher said.
“Andrew’s leadership background and his deep understanding of government and industry make him the ideal person to guide CCF SA through its next phase of development.”
Most recently, Ockenden worked at the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport as the executive director for public affairs. This saw him work across stakeholder engagement, media, government relations, corporate communication and marketing for state infrastructure projects.
Ockenden will have a remit to enhance CCF SA’s operations through its services and delivery of its strategic priorities.
