Pickles has played a major role in supporting one of Australia’s biggest construction events.
The National Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo is Australia’s largest construction event and an outstanding showcase of civil equipment, machinery, and innovation.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, this year’s Diesel, Dirt & Turf expo was a much-anticipated event on the industry’s calendar.
Pickles has been a key supporter of the renowned event since the very beginning.
As one of Australia’s leading marketplace of used industrial assets, this one-of-a-kind construction event was the perfect opportunity to display an expansive range of machinery and equipment.
Held at the iconic Sydney Dragway racetrack in Western Sydney, this year’s Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo was a construction event for the whole family and perfect for those interested in earthmoving and construction equipment.

The event was held over the long weekend from April 17 to 19.
As a principal sponsor, Pickles has supported the event through more than just promotion, but also by hosting the eagerly awaited live auction held each year.
The Pickles auction has become an unmissable staple of the expo weekend, offering attendees the thrill of a live auction.
“Pickles has been a great supporter of the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo for many years,” Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo’s Michael Parkinson said.
“They’ve played a major role in attracting visitors who now look forward to the annual auction, which has become a key attraction of Australia’s largest equipment expo.
“Pickles’ presence at Diesel Dirt & Turf reflects the importance of businesses supporting businesses in the earthmoving industry.”
Steered by the expert auctioneers from Pickles Industrial, this year’s auction featured a range of top-end construction gear, including late model, low usage excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, and much more.
Hosting live event auctions is a much-loved occurrence for the Pickles Industrial team, who always look forward to the opportunity to put on a big show.
This year’s auction was one of the biggest and best live auctions yet, with over 50 lots of quality used items going under the hammer on the day in front of exhibition spectators.
One of the big-ticket items included a 2023 CAT D6 Dozer with just over 2000 hours of use.
Fitted with sweeps, S/U blade, rippers, and more features, this asset is ready to roll and get to work.
Driving attendees to the expo is part of the fun for Pickles, who want to see more faces involved in the industry’s future.
Pickles sees the value in uplifting the community and injecting life back into industrial events.
A vast array of people showed up for the event over the long weekend, from business owners to local families.
As Australia’s largest construction industry expo, it is a must-attend event for industry professionals and the local community.
For Pickles, it’s an invaluable opportunity to network, show off big machines, and get out and about in the community. The rich history of Pickles and the Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo has uplifted both businesses and the industry. •
