Spider-bearing cones for new crusher line-up

The new Cedarapids TG series crusher line-up will be equipped with bronzed bushing spider-bearing cones.

The new bronzed bushing spider-bearing cone is designed to complement the screw-type cone and the floating bowl cone in Cedarapid’s other crusher offerings. According to Terex MPS, a secondary application 149kW spider-bearing cone can potentially match the output performance of other style cones in the power ranges of 223kW to 300kW and accept a maximum feed size similar to other machines in the 300kW to 372kW range.

The spider-bearing cone is being offered in the large feed secondary and “all-rounder” tertiary configurations – ie the TGS Secondary and TG Tertiary.

The TG series spider-bearing cones can be run in secondary, tertiary or quaternary positions and provide the nominal maximum feed sizes and applied power similar to the other style cones.

The TGS series models, which can accommodate up to 75 per cent more feed, are ideal for a secondary position or even a primary in a controlled feed sand and gravel application. They have the same base mount as the TG models, but fewer linear configurations and eccentric throw options.

The new spider-bearing cone range consists of four models for aggregates and recycling applications in both the TG and TGS versions: TG(S)120 (89kW), TG(S)220 (164kW), TG(S)320 (240kW) and TG(S)420 (313kW). All have outputs varying between 143 tonnes per hour (tph) and 1150 tph.

There are two additional models in the TG configuration for large quarrying applications – the TG820 (611kW) and the TG1020 (760kW). These have outputs between 1700 tph and 2535 tph.
