Martin Engineering announce Italian restructure and relocation

Martin Engineering has revealed its newest plans for its Italian business as the bulk handling company relocates to a new facility.

The US-based original equipment manufacturer, which has a global presence, announced a restructuring of its Italian branch and relocation to help boost customer service.

It’s an exciting time for Martin Engineering in Italy as we now have the capability to apply our bulk handling expertise in new ways to solve problems for customers in a broader range of industries,” Martin Engineering sales manager Matteo Manghi said.

“Our new facility gives us the space to assemble and distribute our products for installation by our team of trained specialist service technicians.”

As part of the restructuring, Martin Engineering Italy will be led by Manghi and accounts manager Simona Farina. Manghi will lead a team of sales engineers and service technicians, while Farina will be in charge of accounts, customer service and head office functions. Robert Whetstone, Martin Engineering’s area vice-president for EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent) will be their direct report.

The company will move the Italian branch to a site near Monza, which will allow the company to handle material handling sectors and bring new products to market. This would include the company’s CleanScrape belt cleaners and the N2 remote monitoring system for conveyor belt cleaners.

The restructuring and relocation will keep Martin Engineering delivering quality products to the Italian market, which it has been doing for more than 30 years.
