At a height of 475 metres and close to 100 stories, Rise Tower in Monterrey is expected to be one of the highest towers in Latin America.
At more than 400 metres, the Rise Tower, known as Torre Rise, is commanding a serious amount of concrete with Cemex contracted to fulfil the Latin America project.
Ancôre Development Group is behind the major development. The tower has been in development since 2020 and will feature a hotel, a lookout, restaurants, offices and residences.
The developers have confirmed this project aims to achieve the highest standards of sustainable construction and become the tower with the most environmental certifications in Mexico.
“We’re honoured to be working on a project that will establish the new standard for sustainable high-rise construction in Latin America,” Cemex Mexico president Ricardo Naya said.
“Cemex brings vast experience in sustainable construction, providing lower-carbon building materials, lower-waste practices, and zero use of potable water in our concrete production.”
Given the magnitude of the project, Cemex will provide a special concrete pouring system to reach high altitudes, offering high-strength products and advanced technologies to provide the highest levels of safety, promptness, consistency, and efficiency.
Rise Tower is expected to be completed in 2026.
It comes after Cemex worked on Bryant-Denny Stadium, that is home to the University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide football team.
