Rural property with significant land resource hits the market

A 108 hectare rural land holding has hit the market, with the opportunity to quarry a significant resource, or use for farming.

A 108-hectare rural land holding has hit the market, with the opportunity to quarry a significant resource, or use for farming.

Located at 521 Corio Road, Ravenswood, the property is being marketed by Ray White Commercial WA agents Brett Wilkins and Enrique Reyes on behalf of the Galati Group, owners of Spud Shed, but this land is surplus to requirements.

Wilkins said the property would suit developers, construction groups, and those involved in sand resources.

“The property is a unique opportunity to secure a significant rural property that is already approved for extraction of sand and is listed as a sand resource with an estimated 1.04 million tonnes of quality Bassendean quartz,” Wilkins said.

“It’s ideally located in the central Peel region close to major infrastructure projects that will help to take advantage of this sand resource.

“The property also includes a 12.95 hectare lake.”

The property is being offered for sale via an expressions of interest campaign.
