Lokotrack range expansion fills every need and more

Lokotrack

Metso Outotec has extended its range of Lokotrack mobile crushing and screening equipment, with the LT200HPX and LT220GP mobile cone crushers revealed on the manufacturer’s online Liveroom.

The new models add up to 30 per cent more capacity than previous models and a user-friendly design based on customer feedback.

Metso Outotec’s director on the new offering Jarmo Vuorenpää described the three things the company had looked to achieve in the new offerings.

“The first is the high performance – there is a very efficient pre-screen giving the customer several processes to either bypass the material or create another product from it,” Vuorenpää said at the live unveiling.

“The second thing is the safety and easy to own aspect. Both machines have extensive and accessible platforms. They are also very compact, so despite the size and weight, they’re easy to pack up and move about.

“Thirdly, we have terrific reliability which is the key. You need to be able to trust in these machines that they’ll work day after day.

“We’ve put a lot of effort into the design including a robust chassis, wide conveyors, detailed design and it all comes down to the support we provide on top of this.”

The two models are built upon the same new chassis, giving customers the option between cone crusher types.

The LT200HPX comes with a two-deck pre-screen for higher capacity, and a direct v-belt crusher drive for better fuel efficiency.

It can be combined with the Lokotrack LT106 and LT116 jaw crushers, as well as the Lokotrack ST3.8 and ST4.8 mobile screens.

On the LT200GP, the option of a pre-screen or a belt feeder is afforded, and suits applications in conjunction with the Lokotrack LT120/E (electric) mobile jaw crushers and the ST4.10 mobile screen for the higher capacity users.

Metso Outotec vice president of Lokotrack Solutions Kimmo Anttila said the range of applications on these models was a point of pride for the company.

“With these new models of 300 [tonnes] per hour capacity and [40-tonne] transport weight, the customers have even more choice and flexibility to select from our cone crusher range,” Anttila said.

“Lokotrack is a sustainable and future-proof choice for any type of aggregate production.”

The Metso Lokotrack range is available in Australia through Tutt Bryant Equipment.

The interactive Metso Outotec Liveroom demonstration is still available to view online.
