Hillhead Digital livestream platform a ‘huge success’

The inaugural Hillhead Digital event saw almost 5000 virtual visitors over the two-day event at the end of March.

Hillhead Digital labelled the online conference a “huge success” as more than 70 presentations and panel discussions took place for all to see for free at www.hillhead.com/digital.

Event director Richard Bradbury showed his gratitude to all involved and expressed his hope that 2022 will be equally as pleasing.

“Thank you to everyone who attended the first Hillhead Digital live event. We look forward to continuing to build the Hillhead Digital community and welcome your feedback for future conference themes,” Bradbury said.

Those who missed out or would like to rewatch any of the content can still visit the website and consume all the content on offer.

This includes a visit to the 350 virtual exhibitor booths, the promotional videos, the brochures, and case studies. Visitors can still inquire through chat windows for each exhibitor about specific products.

The key themes of the conference were digitalisation, decarbonisation and infrastructure.

Before the event,  Hillhead Digital event director Richard Bradbury said the emphasis on transforming industry’s knowledge and skill sets moving forward is imperative.

“As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to come together as an industry to not only tackle the challenges ahead, but also celebrate our achievements and share good practice,” Bradbury said.

“The New Horizons – Building the Recovery conference will be a combination of pre-recorded presentations and live interaction that make the most of the Hillhead Digital platform.”

The Hillhead Digital website will continue to be available to view online until the end of May 2021.
