WK-60 scales up capabilities

On Board Weighing’s WK-60 wheel loader scale range enhances payload measurement capabilities by giving operators real time analysis of the amount of material moved to and from site.

By providing highly accurate load scaling, the WK-60 series saves both time and costs to quarrying operations.

The WK-60 is designed and manufactured by German company Pfreundt, and is globally recognised for its capabilities across four models.

Thanks to the likes of the WK-60, trucks arriving at weighbridges under or overloaded has become a thing of the past. The WK-60 enables fast and efficient on-board dynamic weighing with a minimal margin of error.

Each WK-60 features a touch screen display that is designed to function like a smartphone or tablet.

Its software has access to Pfreundt’s web portal to archive and access weighing data from anywhere with an internet connection. The scales can also be directly connected to each company’s ticketing software.

The scales are maintenance-free and offer simplified data exchange, providing dynamic weighing while wheel loading and individual evaluation functions.

On Board Weighing claim the WK-60 range is among the most advanced scales on the market, and capable of offering a fully customisable variant for customers to ensure they only pay for the features they need.

The models offered by On Board Weighing include the WK-60, WK-60-Smart, WK-60-S and WK-60-XS.

The WK-60 is the flagship model in the range. It features a seven-inch touch (180mm) screen display and offers extension receipt number/prefixes, linking of master data types, order management and further data exchange as standard features. It also features number master data of 10,000.

The WK-60-S features number master data of 500 (expandable to 10,000) along with many of the standard features included on the flagship model, including renaming of master data types, cash sales and weighing data statistics.

On Board Weighing also offers the WK-60-Smart model that can be fitted with five additional attachments, and the compact, not legal for trade WK-60-XS, which features a five-inch (127mm) display.
