Mineral Processing Solutions (MPS) has expanded its distribution of EvoQuip mobile crushing and screening equipment to the east coast of Australia.
MPS, which is an OPS Group Company, secured the distribution of the EvoQuip range to the eastern states in 2020.
EvoQuip is a Terex brand that specialises in compact crushing and screening solutions.
Since 2016, MPS has distributed EvoQuip machines in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.
MPS will now expand its sales of EvoQuip equipment to all other states and territories of Australia on an exclusive basis.
As the supplier of the EvoQuip range in Australia, MPS can offer nationwide rental, financing and hire to buy options for EvoQuip machines, along with parts and servicing.
MPS managing director Shane Czerkasow told Quarry the EvoQuip range is designed for customers who demand a compact alternative to their crushing and screening operations.
“EvoQuip equipment is very compact so there is an increasing demand for transportability, both from an economics perspective as well as ability to move quickly without permits,” he said.
“For example, it makes it easier for contractors who are relocating regularly to transport machines.
“Because the engineering and the technology of the machines is first rate, they’re packing a lot of punch and screening and crushing efficiency in a smaller chassis.”
The EvoQuip range includes compact jaw and impact crushers, scalping screens and finishing screens.
According to Czerkasow, the compact machines do not sacrifice performance.
“We’ve had cases where a 2.4m x 1.2m (8’ x 4’) screen was outperforming a 3.6m x 1.3m (12’ x 4.5’) screen, just on the basis of how the screenbox was set up and the efficiency of the screenbox,” he said.
Faster set-up times are another major aspect to the EvoQuip machines, particularly the EvoQuip impact crushers.
“The impactors are prepared with a quick detach system, which provides for quick connect hydraulic couplers and the ability to quick and easy remove or add the entire after-screen system. This whole after-screen system can be completely dispatched or reattached in approximately an hour,” Czerkasow explained.
“The flexibility to go from a standard impact crusher to an impactor with an afterscreen is certainly something pioneered by EvoQuip.”
According to Czerkasow, the EvoQuip range “fills in the gaps” of other crushing and screening segments sizes using price-competitive products.
“What the EvoQuip range is doing is its playing into the capacity and certain areas where the broad general crushing and screening equipment hasn’t played previously,” he said.
“So, it’s filling in some of those gaps and also its price-competitive.
It’s a Terex product, it’s price competitive compared to many other products and its fully backed and supported by MPS and OPS.”
MPS’s nationwide foothold on EvoQuip’s distribution comes with a number of other benefits for customers.
The MPS team of industry professionals can provide process engineering, on-site commissioning, training and maintenance services for all EvoQuip products.
The company offers 24/7 maintenance and spare parts back-up from the company’s workshops in Perth, Adelaide, Central Coast NSW and Darwin.
Czerkasow said the company is well prepared to offer the same level of customer service to its customers in the eastern states.
“We currently have a branch on the central coast of New South Wales that’s fully operational,” he said. “We’re right into the process of opening new branches in Brisbane and Melbourne.”
EvoQuip international sales director Barry O’Hare said the MPS has continued to show its commitment in being a trusted distributor of EvoQuip machines.
“I am delighted to extend MPS’ territory as an EvoQuip distributor,” he said.
“Since (taking) on EvoQuip in 2016, MPS have shown a commitment to service and support that is in keeping with the brand.
“Their extensive knowledge and trained specialists ensure they offer the best solutions and product support which is why they are the right fit for EvoQuip in Australia.”
For Czerkasow, MPS’s position as the exclusive nationwide dealer of the EvoQuip range is an exciting step for the company.
After four years working with EvoQuip, we have developed extensive relevant industry knowledge and built a strong customer base,” he said.
“We look forward to taking this experience and developing our customer base right across Australia. The EvoQuip product is exciting and dynamic and is a great fit for MPS.”
