The VEGAPULS 69 sensor is designed for reliable measurements, regardless of materials build-up in quarry environments.
Designed for level measurement of bulk solids, the VEGAPULS 69 provides precise readings and operates at a frequency of 80 GHz to prevent internal installations and building on vessel walls.
The improved level of focusing enables an enhanced measuring range, with VEGA also facilitating an easier set-up and commission for improved user-friendliness.
The VEGAPULS 69 sensor can be aligned through the VEGA Tools app via a smartphone or tablet for ease of use. The app can also automatically calculate the correct alignment of the radar sensor after entering the silo height and horizontal distance from the sensor (see video).
The sensor’s large dynamic range allows it to measure small reflected signals to enable better measurements across a wide range of applications for all bulk solids. It is designed for high performance over small measuring ranges and is ideal for high tanks or silos.
The VEGAPULS 69 can detect bulk solids at a distance of up to 120 metres and uses an antenna aperture of 75mm.
