This innovative technology allows producers to monitor crusher performance and routine maintenance on an easy- to-use Human Machine Interface (HMI). With its simple set-up, operators can easily configure their cone crusher and be up and running in a matter of minutes. The KCS comes standard on all Kodiak Plus cone crushers.
KCS DATA COLLECTION
The Kodiak Control System automatically transfers system data to a removable USB drive to analyze crusher performance and troubleshoot errors.
BOWL FLOAT DETECTION SYSTEM
The KCS bowl float detection system alerts producers when the bowl begins to float and also records how often bowl float occurs.
HOPPER LEVEL SENSOR LIMITS
Hopper level sensor limits can be set by producers to control the feed coming into the crusher. Ideally, the crusher will be continuously choke fed during plant operation.
TESTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
The testing aspect of the control system showcases the functionality of the equipment, while the troubleshooting feature automatically displays and alerts users of errors.
