Locker have designed the screen cloths from a combination of crimped and straight wires that are held in position by abrasive resistant polyurethane. Pegging or binding is reduced through this method of construction due to the wires not being woven together like traditional screencloths. Poly Ripple screens also provide a reduction in weight against traditional wire screens. The screens are made to be long lasting and have improved durability over conventional woven wire and wire ripple construction.
