Victaulic spreads wings, putting Brisbane on the fast track

The company has announced its third Australian branch would promote “continued growth” throughout the region, according to a company statement.

After many years of continuous operation in Australia, we are excited to extend our commitment to this important market,” operations manager Adam Kelso said.

“The new branch is a significant addition to Victaulic’s portfolio, giving us the footprint and capabilities to provide next day service to all major hubs within Australia.”

The Brisbane branch includes a visitor’s experience and training centre, which provides programs for training installers throughout the region. It is the company’s largest site, and follows the launch of its first Australian site nearly 10 years ago in Melbourne. A Perth branch was opened in 2013 to further support the mining sector.

Before the Brisbane branch opened, the Melbourne branch served customers in New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory.

“Victaulic is now positioned to offer next day service to mining and construction clients in areas that previously had to wait up to four days to receive orders,” Kelso said. “Our customers will benefit from more a responsive and agile product supply, which has flow on benefits for both new projects and maintenance needs.”

The company’s Refuse-to-Fuse range of mechanical products for HDPE poly pipe was ideal for quarries, Kelso said, adding that dust suppression and dewatering applications typically utilised HDPE poly pipe.

Victaulic is one of the world’s leading producers of pipe joining systems, and services a dozen industries including oil, gas, power, water and mining.

The company claims its piping system is safe, efficient and cost-effective, eliminating hazardous welding and lowering risk during installation.

Gasket and grooved technology form the basis of Victaulic’s advanced couplings, and are built to exacting standards for optimal performance.
