The HT182C includes several improved design features to ensure reliability and efficiency for rip rap, armour stone, cleaning and sizing projects, and is said to allow quarry operators to maximise existing reserves and produce extra income.
The heavy-duty trommel uses a chain-drive system for barrel rotation and its 100-tonne capacity feed hopper can accept material up to 900mm in size direct from a dump truck. The unit’s unique hopper and feeder design reduces blockages and bridging, increasing productivity and efficiency.
Access platforms are fitted as standard to provide safe and easy access for routine inspection of the trommel. Maintenance is very low and a permanent operator is not required.
A range of hoppers, chutes and barrel options are also available to suit project requirements.
