Tough build for new loader

The 455ZX is built to last with a heavy-duty structure and JCB six-cylinder Dieselmax engine, proving to be a reliable choice for owners and operators.

Greg Sealey, JCB CEA’s national product manager for wheel loaders, said the 455ZX uses a range of processes to achieve high levels of build quality.

“The 455ZX has been stress-tested, climate tested and fitted with the best components to offer increased power and productivity across many applications, from materials handling to quarry sites,” Sealey said.

The 455ZX is fitted with the JCB Dieselmax 672 engine, which offers high power and torque, while its hydraulics and loader end are set up to keep cycle times short and working shifts long.

“The JCB Dieselmax 672 engine uses our latest generation EcoMax lean-burn combustion system for ultimate efficiency and reduced emissions. The axles, driveline and hydraulics have been fine tuned to perfectly match the engine and deliver outstanding efficiency,” Sealey said.

“Initial benchmarking indicates that the 455ZX is around 15 per cent more fuel-efficient than its competitors.”
The 455ZX has also been specifically designed for ease of maintenance and serviceability, with ground level access to all key service access points and checks, and LiveLink technology provides alerts on fuel reports and maintenance history, so they can be managed remotely.

“The JCB 455ZX is easily serviceable to maximise its working life, supremely comfortable to operate, and highly efficient on any site. It is up to the challenge of the toughest conditions and environments,” Sealey said.
