Timken Belts, a subsidiary of the Inenco Group, has announced the introduction of its new Carlisle Super Arc belt, which is specifically designed for live/powered roller conveyor drives commonly used in bulk materials applications.
The belts are designed to resist the extreme stress and wear experienced on powered roller conveyor drives. The clutching cover provides just the right amount of slip and grip between the belt and rollers. The multiple layers of small diameter polyester cord allow the belt to flex around the arc of the conveyor where standard cord belts would not have enough give. The highly engineered rubber compound supports the cord while retaining excellent flex life.
Inenco Group will be on Booth 3 at the IQA’s annual conference at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong, from 1 to 3 October.
