The Cat Inspect app allows operators to download machine-specific inspection forms and capture actionable information during their walkarounds.
Inspection types include technical analysis (TA1) inspection forms and preventative maintenance (PM) checklists, as well as daily pre-start and weekly inspections. The inspection can also be customised to suit site requirements and tailored to other non-Cat assets that may be in the fleet.
Users can add ratings, make comments and take pictures during the inspection, and subsequent inspection reports list items requiring attention. Optional equipment not included in the checklist can also be documented.
In addition, completed inspection reports and important alerts are sent to the web-based VisionLink fleet management interface. This provides operators with a better overall view of their fleets, including details such as fuel burn, payload, cycle times, and equipment health and maintenance.
Cat Inspect is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices.
