A new axial interpole magnetic circuit removes unwanted tramp iron from non-magnetic materials conveyed on a belt.
The magnetic pulley replaces the head pulley of a belt conveyor, converting the conveyor into a magnetic separator.
Material carried on the conveyor belt passes over the magnetic pulley, which separates the tramp metal and retains the magnetic particles to the belt until they pass out of the magnetic field and are safely discharged.
The pulleys are completely welded and fabricated for severe duty applications involving extra long conveyors, heavy loads or start–stop operations.
Optional extras include custom pulley face widths, shafts and lagging.
