Multinational opens new service centre

The opening ceremony was celebrated on 29 November 2013 at the new premises in Dandenong South, Victoria and attended by 200 customers, guests and Liebherr staff. It was held under a German beer garden theme and included traditional South German music and dance performances and a buffet of German cuisine.
{{image2-a:r-w:200}}More than 10 machines were exhibited at the opening, including mobile cranes and a wide variety from Liebherr?s earthmoving product range. 
The brand new facility enables Liebherr to provide its customers with even better service as the 2879m2 premises comprise a wash bay, a workshop and spare parts stock.
{{image3-a:l-w:200}}Liebherr Australia was originally founded in 1981 in Adelaide and specialises in mining equipment, earthmoving equipment, deep foundation machines, mobile and crawler cranes.
It employs more than 700 staff across Australia and has facilities in Adelaide, Sydney and Singleton (New South Wales), Perth and Newman (Western Australia), Brisbane and Mackay (Queensland) and Auckland (New Zealand). 
Liebherr is currently building a remanufacturing centre for components and a new warehouse and logistics centre at its Adelaide site, with a new service subsidiary under construction at Newman. The company is also expanding its infrastructure at its Perth, Mackay and Singleton sites.
