The CoreTech rollers are available in either nylon or high density polyethylene and their high strength, corrosion resistance and long service life make them an ideal alternative to steel rollers.
The rollers are extremely lightweight, offering equivalent or better performance than their steel counterparts while being 40 to 50 per cent lighter.
The rollers also have a low breakaway mass, meaning they require less energy or torque to start rotation. Combined with a low running friction of 0.7 Newton (rim drag), the rollers are able to reduce a conveyor’s power consumption.
