Joint venture for customised earthmoving equipment

The technology includes proprietary ejector bodies, water tanks, J-Hook systems and sticky material carryback solutions in addition to other articulated hauler customisations.
Philippi-Hagenbuch (PHIL) has been building and customising equipment for off-highway haul trucks since 1969.
The agreement spans the entire Volvo CE articulated hauler product line including the A25F, A30F, A35F, and A40F standard and full suspension (FS) versions.
PHIL?s patented ejector body and trailer technology is known for its simplicity and durability in demanding environments. The standard capacity ejector bodies provide a similar volumetric capacity to the Volvo end-dump body.
Custom high volume designs are available for applications that transport lighter density materials such as landfill and refuse operations.
Rear eject bodies
PHIL rear eject bodies allow for safe dumping of materials while in motion. Without moving or raising the truck bed, the ejector blade pushes material toward the rear of the truck while the tailgate lowers down and material is completely ejected.
The unique sweeping action of the blade virtually eliminates all material, even material prone to sticking to the sides or floor of the truck bed. The rear eject bodies are also versatile enough to be used as auxiliary feeders within quarries.
?Announcements like this are always pleasing to see as it allows us at CJD Equipment the opportunity to provide our customers with a broader range of customised products,? Australian distributor CJD Equipment?s director of sales and key accounts Peter Marshall told Quarry.
This new joint relationship will allow Volvo CE dealers the opportunity to offer customers a wide variety of super-structures for their Volvo articulated haulers in a variety of industries.
