In addition to transforming into a very compact package with a total weight of 30 tonnes, the NW106 has an agile undercarriage that makes it easy to transport from site to site.
No heavy cranes are required to set-up the fully electric-driven plant, and its hydraulically operated, adjustable support legs mean it can be ready for action within hours of being delivered to site.
The NW106 utilises the Metso IC10 process control system, which allows operators to steer the feeder, crusher and conveyors from a single touch screen.
Other new design features include flywheel composite covers, spacious service platforms and improved accessibility.
