The Skilled Safety Innovation Award acknowledges and rewards organisations that demonstrate a strong commitment to safety through the establishment and practice of leading safety solutions within their workplace.
This award is assessed on a qualitative basis by a judging panel.
Applications were submitted by numerous WA organisations that developed or used a safety innovation during the relevant calendar year.
CME won for its innovative and specially designed, engineered, manufactured and patented lifting device called the LockLift.
Designed for cone and gyratory crushers, the LockLift eliminates the need for welding lifting lugs onto crusher liners, providing customers with the safest means available to remove and replace crusher liners, while substantially reducing mantle change times.
