The relevant air pollution control authority has a power to issue an air pollution abatement notice if it is satisfied that the emission of air pollutants from a polluting process is causing or contributing to air pollution which exists or which is imminent. Any person being served with such air pollution abatement notice has to improve the ?polluting process? to the satisfaction of the relevant authority.

3. Noise Control Ordinance (Cap. 400)
The Noise Control Ordinance was enacted in 1988. It is a key piece of legislation which regulates the noise generated by construction
