The Hitachi ZH210-A and ZH210LC-A have a TRIAS-HX hybrid system that combines a newly developed large capacity tri-pump control valve hydraulic and hybrid system.
The combination of regenerated electric power and hydraulic power to the swing motor is an exclusive feature to Hitachi, reducing fuel consumption and potentially contributing to an annual reduction in carbon emissions of 9.7 tonnes. Both models use four cylinder Isuzu 123kW (165hp) diesel engines.
A monitoring system highlights fuel usage on an average hourly and daily basis and an automatic idling stop function cuts the engine during machine idling.
