The new Terex Finlay 893 is a highly versatile and aggressive machine, engineered and built for working in quarrying, mining, construction and demolition debris, recycling, sand, gravel and aggregate applications.
The 893?s forward facing inclined modular configuration screen box has a 6.1m x 1.83m (20? x 6?) top deck and a 5.5m x 1.83m (18? x 6?) bottom deck.
Depending on the working application of the machine, hydraulic adjustment can be used to vary the working range angle of the screen box between 14? and 18?.
The screen box top deck can be fitted with a variety of screening media including mesh, punch plate, bofor bars and tines. The bottom deck can be fitted with mesh, punch plate and cascade fingers.
A high performance 1100mm (44?) apron feeder and hydraulic gearbox drive is fitted to the machine as standard, and has proven performance and versatility in demanding and varied working environments. The hopper has a 10m? capacity as standard.
The 893 is powered by either a Tier 3/Stage 3A Caterpillar C6.6 151kW engine or a Tier 4i Caterpillar C4.4 129kW engine.
It is also equipped with three hydraulically folding discharge conveyors, allowing for maximum stockpiling capacity and associated benefits of rapid set-up and tear-down times.
The heavy duty crawler tracks and optional radio remote control unit make on-site mobility very easy.
A key feature of the machine is the ability to hydraulically raise the screen box 600mm (24?) at the discharge end, to provide additional clearance for ease of media change and routine maintenance of the screen box and fines transfer.
The plant has the capacity to process at a rate of up to 800 tonnes per hour and can be fed either by a tracked mobile crusher or an excavator.
This fully self-contained plant can be hydraulically folded and ready for transport in less than 30 minutes, making it the ideal machine for large scale contract screening projects in which a highly productive and dependable screen is paramount.
COMBI FLIP-FLOW MACHINE
The Terex Finlay 883 Spaleck is the latest in mobile screening and separation technology.
This new product is the result of a joint partnership between Terex Finlay, a pioneer in mobile tracked processing equipment, and Spaleck, the market leader in static recycling screening technology.
At the heart of the mobile plant is the two-deck German designed and constructed high performance screen box. The unique stepped top deck design is combined with state of the art flip-flow technology on the bottom deck.
The 883 Spaleck?s processing capabilities and application flexibility make it the only all-in-one mobile solution for processing difficult waste, recycling, slag, C&D, shredded metal and coal.
Even large grained material can be screened on a screening machine with a flip-flow screen deck.
The screening deck with 3D screen segments, which is positioned above the flip-flow screen deck to form a cascade, protects and reduces the stress on the flip-flow screen mats. Their service life is increased and optimal screening results are guaranteed.
The 3D screen segments with maximum open screen area can be changed quickly and simply thanks to the modular construction.
The screen mats of the 3D flip-flow screen are fastened without screws and have no edges that could cause difficulties. This means the screen mats can be changed quickly and there is an optimal product flow.
Other machines that will be on display at Hillhead include Terex Finlay?s 693+ inclined screen, C-1550 cone crusher, I-100RS impact crusher, J-1170AS jaw crusher and new diesel/electric variants of the J-1175 jaw crusher, C-1540 cone crusher and 694+ inclined screen.
In Australia, Terex Finlay products are distributed by Finlay Crushing & Screening (east coast) and OPS Screening & Crushing (west coast).
