CMIC14 launches new app

The CMIC14 app, which is compatible with both Apple and Android devices, features a countdown that marks off the days until the big event.

In the lead up, delegates will be able to use the app to find out more information on technical sessions, speakers and social activities, and plan their own agenda using the in-built schedule. {{image2-A:R-w:220}}

During the event, this schedule can be used to track presentations, and delegates will be able to easily navigate the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre with the app’s user-friendly maps and floorplans.

Users will also be able to find out further details about exhibitors and sponsors.

Building productivity in Brisbane
As previously reported by Quarry, the theme for CMIC14 will be Building Productivity, with the technical speaker program focusing on ways in which industry can navigate the financial uncertainty it has been faced with in the past five years.

This year, the two-day speaker program will also be preceded by a CMIC-first – an exhibition open day to allow quarry operators to explore the products and services available to help them achieve productivity gains.

The biennial event, which is jointly organised by Cement Concrete Aggregates Australia and the IQA, will be held from 3 to 6 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
