Due to a number of requests, the deadline for abstracts for the biennial Construction Materials Industry Conference has been extended until Thursday 27 March, 2014. CMIC14 will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 3 to 6 September.
Again, the IQA and Cement Concrete Aggregates Australia (CCAA) have pooled resources to present CMIC14 for the construction materials industry.
This year, there is a new opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors to make presentations from five to 15 minutes duration to conference delegates and industry operators at an exhibition open day.
The open day will be held on Wednesday, 3 September for conference delegates and industry operators. It is designed as an interactive platform to promote company updates or launch new products. Sponsors and exhibitors can also present on Thursday or Friday during the conference program.
CMIC14 will open its early bird registrations in April 2014. The theme for the conference is ?Building Productivity?, which is core to business thinking today, and will focus on efficiencies in processes, improved offerings to customers, support tools and business systems for frontline services.
Supporting this, the conference includes an extensive social program, providing an excellent forum for delegates to meet with suppliers, peers, customers and friends and solve local and global problems.
