The Ripper is said to be able to increase productivity by up to five times in most types of rock that have seams, layers, faults, fractures and joints, compared to hydraulic breakers and hammers.
The need for daily maintenance and daily lubrication are eliminated due to the Ripper’s mechanical design, and its components offer a longer wear life.
The Ripper is at least 10 decibels quieter than a hydraulic hammer, meaning it can be operated for longer hours. It is also said to consume less fuel, produce fewer emissions, and to offer increased operator comfort.
The Ripper can be operated underwater and in marine environments, and uses eco-friendly bio-lubricants.
