ACE attracts government approval

?Having such a prominent member of the State Government participating in the show demonstrates the Premier?s Office sees this Expo as an important platform for the industry in Queensland,? said Maureen Ryan, event manager, exhibitions and trade fairs.

The Expo will feature a free walk-in seminar program, presented by industry leaders including Construction Machinery and Equipment Industry (CMEIG) president  Andrew Moir.

The first day of seminars will provide a range of different topics while the second day will focus on apprenticeships, training and recruitment.

?It is important that we support the industry. The current market is extremely tough, and we aim to do what we can to make sure we provide a helpful ?community?, where those looking for employment and those looking to recruit can meet on equal ground,? Ryan said.

Overall the expo will cover more than 9000 square metres of indoor and outdoor space.

Registrations are open and more information is at the ACE QLD website.
