Superior Industries will unveil a new model cone crusher at ConExpo-ConAgg in Las Vegas in March.
The new model – the P500 – will be added to Superior Industries’ inventory of Patriot cone crushers and is one of 12 new products that will be on display at the show.
The 350kW P500 features a 1500mm head diameter, with a 343mm maximum feed opening and closed side setting between 10mm and 50mm.
The universal crushing chamber design does not require major, time-consuming change-outs when transitioning from secondary to tertiary applications. The P500 is also fitted with a tramp relief system with fewer accumulators for less maintenance, and inverted tramp relief cylinders protect the hydraulic seals from contamination.
In the event of clamping pressure loss, a counterclockwise countershaft rotation will cause the crusher to open, reducing the risk of significant damage.
The P500 joins other members of the Patriot family of crushers, including the P200, P300, P400 and P600.
