The M515 rock trommel is a bespoke unit, built around the client’s needs and available in both static and mobile options. It is ideal for separating rock from clay overburden, armoured rock and gabion material, and can handle rock up to 750mm in size, producing three products –750/300mm, 300/120mm and 120mm minus – with production rates from 350 to 420 tonnes per hour.
Screenmasters have altered the design of the M515 trommel to suit the Australian climate and conditions with great success. The altered design features a more powerful Caterpillar 4.4 engine pack, ripstop belts on every conveyor, and a reinforced hopper floor.
To provide more flexibility and less downtime, Screenmasters have introduced the latest models with two solid interchangeable drums that can easily be lifted in and out. Resulting in only 12 punch plate inserts (previously 42), this promises longer wear rates on the drums and the ability to blend materials with ease.
