Lincom Group will host the event at the operational Divall’s Carrick Quarry in Goulburn, New South Wales, on 8 and 9 November.
The demo days are being held in conjunction with Powerscreen, Morbark, Neuenhauser and Rapid and will showcase machinery for both the quarrying and recycling industries.
The highlight of the demo days promises to be the official Australian launch of the Powerscreen Pulse telematics system, which allows operators to view accurate and up to date information on production tonnages, fuel usage and fuel costs per tonne to identify cost savings.
Powerscreen Pulse also allows customers to receive alerts to enable rapid response to production issues, status checks and key information on all units in a fleet.
The system also helps to optimise fleet performance based on idle and working time information, track engine hours to plan servicing and maximise uptime, monitor wear rates and track machine locations anywhere in the world.
Lincom Group CEO Stephen Watterson told Quarry he hoped visitors would have the chance to see new models in action and identify benefits and savings opportunities that can enhance their businesses.
“To make sure we are giving our customers a good reason to come to our demo days we knew it was necessary to have new machines with new features and ideas on them so that there is a genuine benefit for them to come and see what is on offer,” he said.
Live demonstrations
Lincom Group will also be hosting live working demonstrations of Powerscreen’s Premiertrak 300 jaw crusher, Trakpactor 320SR impact crusher and Chieftain 2100X two-deck screen. The three machines will form a working train for the two days.
The Premiertrak 300 is “the first machine of its kind” in Australia, Watterson explained, adding some of the benefits of the midsize contractor’s machine include its portability, production capabilities and safety features.
In the recycling demonstration area there will be a Morbark 4600 Woodhog feeding material into a Neuenhauser 3F screen.
“These machines are great for production and exceptionally productive with some difficult wet materials that challenge conventional flat deck screeners,” Watterson said.
Visitors will have the opportunity to inspect the Powerscreen Warrior 600 screen, Powerscreen Premiertrak 400 jaw and Rapidmix 400 pugmill in a static display area. They also will be able to view the working machines up close after the demos, with Lincom engineers on hand to explain the features and benefits.
The Lincom Spare Parts and Sales team will also be on hand.
