An alternative to traditional spring-based tensioning systems, the EZ-TENSE system, from ROSTA, utilises a bracket assembly that bolts in place of a standard OEM pulley tensioning unit. The assembly can normally be enacted with no changes to existing supporting steel work or guards.
Compared to coil tensioning spring systems, which can bend and fail, the EZ-TENSE system requires little maintenance, reduces the need for grease replacement and usually costs less to purchase than most standard belt tensioning systems.
The EZ-TENSE’s lever system eliminates pinch points and incorporates a safety lock mechanism. This offers improved safety and greater protection during installation and performance.
