Mobile multi-frequency scalper

In addition to the traditional incline screen’s stroke, amplitude and revolutions per minute (rpm), the GT165MF’s bottom deck has six independently controlled exciters that can each apply an additional frequency to the screen media of up to 4200 rpm, along with having the adjustability in the amount of stroke and amplitude applied.

For each 760mm of length on the bottom deck media, each exciter is adjustable for frequency, amplitude and stroke, ensuring these actions are applied directly to the screen media and consequently into the bed of material. This maximises the screening efficiency for the whole screen box and advances incline screening technology from traditionally only having one adjustable operational configuration to seven.

Astec Australia will be on Booth 23 at the IQA’s annual conference at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong, from 1 to 3 October.
