Family-owned company announces partnership with US giant

Lincom Group is now the official distributor for McLanahan’s sand and aggregates processing range throughout the Australian market. This includes equipment tailored to a range of applications, including washing and classifying, tailings and water management and dewatering ranges.

“As a leading provider of material processing equipment, we are always looking into the best quality equipment for our customers and to machine plant that complements the range we already successfully provide,” Lincom Group CEO Stephen Watterson said.

“McLanahan Corporation is a global provider with a reputation of top quality, with the highest standards for engineering and manufacturing, which is of huge importance to us."

Lincom Group will be providing modular solutions, including the UltraWASH, UltraSAND and UltraFines product range to the Australian and Papua New Guinea markets. It will also be distributing McLanahan’s screw washers, other wet processing equipment and stationary aggregate crushing and screening equipment.

“At Lincom, product quality and reliability are key to our success; people know they can depend on Lincom. McLanahan equipment is also known for its reliability and long service life, along with their extensive experience and knowledge in the processing industry. We are confident that we will now see more McLanahan products and installations in this market as a result of this new partnership,” Watterson said.

Both the Lincom Group and McLanahan Corporation are family-owned companies and, according to Watterson, share many of the same core values, such as integrity and an emphasis on safety.

Watterson said Lincom’s partnership with McLanahan would increase the Australian firm’s range of product offerings and add to its reputation for expertise and for helping customers achieve plant productivity and efficiency.

Lincom Group has purchased McLanahan’s UltraWASH, which was recently launched at bauma 2019 in Munich, Germany.

The McLanahan modular wash plants are assembled from washing modules and produce up to five different products, including three clean aggregate and two washed sand fractions.

The UltraWASH line is available with several configurations and add-ons including: feed preparation (log washers, blade mills, screw washers); attritioning; organics removal and water treatment (filter presses and thickeners).

“Lincom’s wide customer base will benefit with enhanced offerings and solutions from this great amalgamation opportunity,” Watterson said. “This is a unique partnership that combines the expertise with industry experience from both companies.

“We strive on offering our clients the best experience in the industry and we look forward to seeing where this business venture can take us.”
