Quarries claim EH&S awards

More than 300 industry members and guests marked a record attendance for the annual Construction Materials Industry Dinner, the premier quarrying and aggregates event in New South Wales.

The dinner, which was held on 1 August, was jointly hosted by the IQA and Cement Concrete Aggregates Australia (CCAA) at Le Montage on Sydney Harbour.

In addition to offering industry members an opportunity to network, the dinner included a presentation of the CCAA’s Environment Health and Safety Awards. These awards showcase innovations and recognise best performance in a range of areas and this year a record 44 nominations were submitted. {{image2-A:R-w:300}}
