Terex Minerals Processing Systems, however, did not let the weather deter it from lifting the curtain on a new addition to its popular modular products portfolio.
“The MJ400R recycling jaw is a great addition to our portfolio,” Terex MPS’s sales director Geoff Beattie said. “The key to this product is the industry leading access we have built into the design of this new modular jaw.
“It brings customers a well proven, cost-effective and durable machine in a modular all-electric format with ‘no crawl maintenance access’ to the chamber.”
The MJ400R incorporates the Terex TJ2844R single toggle jaw crusher with renowned hydraulic overload protection as standard. It has a fully galvanised steel structure including walkways, steps, guardrails and product conveyor and is CE compliant. This makes it ideal for C&D recycling applications, as well as quarries and mines. It also integrates well with established systems or can work independently.
Also on display at the Hillhead launch was Terex MPS’ renowned TSV6203, which incorporates the Terex Cedarapids LJ-TSV screen.
This screen increases production and handles applications not possible with traditional horizontal screens, because it combines the efficient, high G-force El-Jay oval stroke motion with variable slope operation to handle larger deck loads. The screen adjusts up to 10 degrees in 2.5-degree increments to best fit the application.

The LJ-TSV, with its variable slope operation, gives customers a product that handles more applications than other screens on the market. The screen promises increased capabilities, higher production, enhanced durability and ease of maintenance.
MPS team members were on hand throughout Hillhead 2016 to introduce these latest innovations, and to offer their unique combination of experience and expertise to customers seeking efficiency, performance and serviceability from their materials washing equipment.
