Water filter for sand washing applications

&lt;p&gt;Water sourced from a dam or pond goes through the suction hose that has a foot valve or gauze filter on the intake, allowing the water to pass through quickly and restrict larger elements from entering the pump.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This still lets organic particles up to 10mm to pass through to the wash plant.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Precisionscreen has introduced a stand-alone filter system to combat the problem most wash plants have of keeping spray nozzles clean, maximising spraying efficiency.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The fully galvanised housing is fitted with a specially designed 500 micron metal wedge wire filter. The filter capacity allows for water flows up to 3000 litres per minute.&lt;/p&gt;
