Optimal quarry design through geotechnical models

Geohart can supply site geotechnical drilling supervision and logging services, and can assess and rework the resulting data to produce a geotechnical model.

As part of its quarry slope stability assessment, Geohart can use the geotechnical model to empirically derive slope angles.

The business also uses limited equilibrium and finite element analysis software to identify potential design problems and improve spoil removal.

To further improve stability at quarries, Geohart assesses catchment areas and develops surface drainage solutions. 

It can also help with open-pit, water dam, tailings dam embankments and spoil dumping safety designs, regular in-pit and dam, waste dump inspections, and development of ground control management plans.
